The “Around Africa | The Impact Imbizo” Meeting Diary Is Now Open

CAPE TOWN, SOUTH AFRICA, Tourism suppliers and global travel buyers can begin building their virtual meeting schedules today, 3 August 2026, as Around Africa | The Impact Imbizo opens its appointment calendars.

The virtual tourism showcase connects African and Indian Ocean tourism businesses with international buyers through pre-scheduled, one-to-one video meetings. Participants can explore the virtual showroom, identify relevant partners and select the dates and market windows that suit their businesses.

The first activation will run across four Global Pop-Up weeks:
- 24–28 August
- 31 August–4 September
- 14–18 September
- 21–25 September 2026

Suggested live meeting windows have been structured around international markets and time zones:
- Australia, New Zealand, Asia-Pacific and Oceania: 06:00–10:00 CAT
- Europe, the United Kingdom, Ireland and Africa: 09:00–16:00 CAT
- North America and Canada: 16:00–22:00 CAT
- Latin America and the Caribbean: 16:00–22:00 CAT
- Around Africa Open Time: 08:00–19:30 CAT

Participants are not required to remain online throughout each Global Pop-Up week. Suppliers can open the appointment times that work for them, while buyers can request meetings with businesses relevant to their clients, products and source markets. More than 200 tourism properties, experiences, brands and industry partners are already represented on the virtual showroom floor.

Participation is complimentary for approved global buyers. Tourism suppliers can review the available exhibitor options and apply through the Around Africa website.

The first virtual meetings will begin when the opening Global Pop-Up week starts on 24 August 2026.
