AI Disclosure Policy

VoyaPress is a tourism press release and industry publishing platform. The platform may publish submitted press releases, partner news, paid distribution content, and editorially reviewed tourism industry updates.

This AI disclosure policy explains how artificial intelligence tools may be used in the VoyaPress publishing process and what standards apply to AI-assisted content, AI-generated images, and submitted material.

Our Position on AI

VoyaPress does not rely on artificial intelligence as a primary publisher, editor, or author.

AI tools may occasionally be used for technical or support functions, but not as a replacement for human editorial responsibility.

AI may assist with tasks such as:

• Formatting
• Grammar support
• Headline options
• SEO structure
• Metadata drafts
• Schema markup support
• Summaries
• Social post snippets
• Internal workflow support
• Image generation or image editing where appropriate

Any AI-assisted material used by VoyaPress should be reviewed before publication.

Human Review

VoyaPress remains responsible for platform-level editorial decisions, including whether content is accepted, edited, labelled, rejected, corrected, or removed.

For submitted press releases and partner content, the submitting party remains responsible for factual accuracy, legal permissions, quotes, claims, links, media rights, and the truthfulness of the information supplied.

AI assistance does not remove that responsibility.

AI and Submitted Content

VoyaPress may accept content that was drafted, edited, or supported by AI, provided the content meets VoyaPress publishing standards.

Submitted content must still be:

• Tourism-related
• Accurate
• Not misleading
• Lawful
• Properly authorised
• Free from fabricated quotes or fake sources
• Clear about commercial intent where applicable
• Supported where strong claims are made

The submitting party is responsible for ensuring that AI-assisted submissions are accurate and do not include fabricated information.

AI-generated Images

AI-generated images are allowed on VoyaPress where appropriate.

However, AI-generated images must not mislead readers. They should not falsely represent a real lodge, hotel, safari camp, tour, destination, wildlife encounter, guest experience, event, person, or product.

AI-generated images may be used as illustrative visuals, campaign graphics, concept images, or promotional creative where they do not create a false impression of reality.

Where appropriate, VoyaPress may identify AI-generated images as illustrative or AI-generated.

AI Uses That Are Not Allowed

VoyaPress does not allow AI to be used knowingly for:

• Fabricated quotes
• Fake interviews
• Fake reviews
• False destination claims
• False property or product descriptions
• Misleading images of real places or people
• Impersonation
• Plagiarism
• Fake sources
• False awards or recognitions
• Deceptive commercial claims
• Misrepresentation of tourism businesses, destinations, or experiences

Submissions that use AI in a misleading way may be rejected or removed.

Disclosure on Individual Articles

VoyaPress maintains this general AI disclosure policy for the platform.

Individual articles may not carry a separate AI disclosure note unless VoyaPress considers the use of AI to be material to the reader’s understanding of the content.

Where AI-generated images or illustrative AI visuals are used, VoyaPress may add a caption, note, or label where appropriate.

Accuracy and Corrections

AI tools can produce errors, incomplete information, or fabricated details.

For that reason, AI-assisted content must still meet VoyaPress editorial standards. If AI-assisted content is found to contain materially incorrect or misleading information, VoyaPress may correct, update, label, or remove the article.

Privacy and Confidentiality

VoyaPress will aim to avoid entering confidential, sensitive, private, or unpublished third-party information into AI tools unless appropriate permission or operational justification exists.

Submitting parties should not provide private, confidential, or unauthorised information for publication or AI processing unless they have the right to do so.
